It's always hard to say a play is "done," but these are some projects that have been out in the world, at least a little bit.  If you'd like to know more about them, please let me know!

THE DRAGON PLAY                                                                                              (2M, 2W, 1B, 90 min)

In rural Texas, a teenage boy and a dragon fall in love.  A thousand miles north, a woman's fragile marriage is tested when her fire-breathing ex-lover arrives on her doorstep.  A meditation on love, longing, and moving on.

Premiere: Shrewd Productions, Austin.  Subsequent productions: Articulate Theater with Planet Connections Theatre Festival, NYC, Impact Theatre, Berkeley, and Chance Theater, Anaheim.  Upcoming: Production at Know Theater, Cincinnati, 2017.

THE PSYCHE PROJECT                                                                         (Flexible cast, min 3M, 5W, 70 min)

A fast-and-funny re-telling of the Cupid and Psyche myth, with a satiric edge and a decidedly modern twist.  A devised piece developed with an ensemble of actors, designers, choreographers and directors at UT Austin.

Premiere: David Mark Cohen New Works Festival, 2009.  Subsequent productions: University of Texas, Blue Theatre (both in Austin, TX)

CHRYSALIS                                                                                                     (1M, 1W, 1B, 3 flexible, 10 min)

What if reincarnation is real?  What happens to our memories when our souls move on?  What happens if we don't want to let go?

TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

Avi, an Austin-based music critic, needs a scoop to keep his job.  Bernadette is the hottest act at SxSW, but she hates critics almost as much as she hates playing live.  Avi's got less than a day to get her story and get her onstage before she realizes who he is.  A drama in development with Maven Pictures.

PLAYING HOUSE

When siblings Julie and Mike get left in charge of their little sister, they grow up fast.  When their sanctimonious neighbors start asking questions about what's happening behind closed doors, will their house turn into a house of cards?  Available for development.
